Vėtrungė *** Weathervane

Palydint vasarą dar norisi prisiminti jūrą ir atostogas... Būnant Kuršių Nerijoje, sudomino vėtrungės, norėjosi sužinoti kam jos, ką simbolizuoja, kodėl taip...
Pasirodo, kad būtų įmanoma kontroliuoti žvejybą Kuršių mariose, XIXa. įvesta speciali ženklinimo sistema. Ilgainiui iš šios pradinės, gana griežtos ženklų sistemos, Kuršių nerijos žvejai sukūrė originalų meno reiškinį - vėtrunges. Vėtrungė buvo laivo puošmena ir šeimos pasididžiavimas. Vyresni vaikai turėjo teisę perdažyti saulės ir vėjo išblukintas dalis.
Pagauti smalsumo ir azarto, ir mes ėmėmės kūrybos, tik ne iš medžio :))) vyras nupiešė schemą ir man beliko imtis adatos ir ant lino plėvesuoja maža simpatiška vėtrungė.


Seeing off the summer, I want to remember the sea and the holidays... Being in the Curonian Spit, we were interested in weathervanes...
For the control of fishery in the Curonian Lagoon there was created a special system of signs in 1844. Using this strict signing system the fishermen eventually created an original art phenomenon - the weathervanes. A weathervane was a decoration of a sailing boat and the pride of the whole family. The older children had a right to repaint the sun faded parts of the weathervane.
Catch the excitement and curiosity, we're taken to creativity, just not wooden:))) my husban drew a diagram and I need to take a needle and there are a small sym-weathervane on the linen.



Viršūnė simbolizuoja kreipinį į gamtos jėgas arba parodo šeimos simbolius.
Priešvėjinėje dalyje vaizduojami metų kaitos, saulės ciklo pasiketimai. Virš šių simbolių dažnai išdrožiamas namo ar laivo siluetas.
Pavėjinės dalies simbolius galima priskirti kasdieninei buičiai. Jais žvejai vaizdavo savo gyvenimą: gyvenamą vietą, ūkio trobesius, kaimynų namus.
Ženklas prie vėliavos nurodo vietovę.

The top symbolizes the power of nature and also shows the family's symbols.
The windward side reflects the change of the seasons, the Sun wheel. The figures of houses and sailing boats are often showed above these symbols.
The lee side pictures the symbols of family's daily routine. They mean a living place, neighborhood and property of a fisherman.
The sign next to the flag showing the locality.
